Tracy Bosis

LCSW

Tracy Bosis graduated from Jane Addams College of Social Work at the University of Illinois in Chicago and has worked as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for more than 30 years. She began working at the COBYS Counseling Center in 2013. Tracy appreciates the unique experience of each person who comes for therapy, and their courage to seek change in their life. She believes that every person has the capacity to heal when given the opportunity in an emotionally safe environment.

Tracy has certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) for children and teens and maintains certification as an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist. She enjoys working with school-age children and teens, adults, families, and couples. In therapy sessions, she works to help individuals understand how their experiences have impacted their thoughts and beliefs, and to explore the effect on their emotions, their relationships, and their view of self. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), TF-CBT, and EMDR to help those in therapy to learn and practice skills that facilitate healing of emotional distress and trauma experiences.

Married with three adult children, Tracy enjoys working in her garden, walking, biking, and traveling to visit her family.

Day Butcher

With a master’s degree in art therapy from Nazareth College and a doctorate degree in education from the University of Rochester, Dr. Day Butcher worked in K–12 schools providing art therapy to a variety of children with emotional, social, and mental health issues, autism spectrum disorders, and other neurodevelopmental issues. She has been a full-time faculty member at Lancaster Bible College Capital Seminary & Graduate School, teaching in the MA Counseling program, since August 2021 and has served as a part-time art therapist for COBYS Family Services since February 2023.

Day is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania, a Board-Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC), and a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) in NYS. She uses different creative processes to engage individuals in ways that go beyond traditional talk therapy. She primarily works with school-aged children and families with behavioral and emotional issues related to ASD, ADHD, and adoption / foster care placements. Day has experienced the joy in connecting with individuals through the arts and watched their growth through the process. Often children are seen as “problems” that need to be fixed, but connecting with them provides a space to understand their needs and support them in the healing process.

Day believes God has placed her in a position that combines her own gifts as a teacher, artist, and therapist. She wants to honor this by walking beside those facing life’s challenges who are hurting, exhausted, and defeated.

Roseauna Good

Rosie Good has a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Lebanon Valley College and a Master of Science degree in clinical psychology from Millersville University. She is licensed by the state of Pennsylvania as a professional counselor and is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She has also been extensively trained and has a certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Rosie started working as an outpatient therapist at COBYS Family Services in 2014. Previously, she served as a mobile therapist, behavioral specialist consultant, and therapeutic support staff.

Rosie works with adults, families, and children, specializing in the areas of trauma, anxiety, and depression. When working with clients, she uses an eclectic approach that is tailored to clients’ needs, but often also incorporates polyvagal theory, CBT, parts work, and EMDR.

Rosie lives in Lititz with her husband, who is a pastor in the Church of the Brethren, their two teenage daughters, and a plethora of pets. She enjoys walking, eating ice cream, going on adventures, watching her tropical fish, and playing board games.

Bria Griffin

MA, LAPC

Bria Griffin studied psychology at Penn State University and received her master’s in clinical mental health counseling from Liberty University. She is actively completing the required supervision hours to earn her professional counselor licensure (LPC) in Pennsylvania and has been working at COBYS since 2024.

Before coming to COBYS, Bria worked as a therapist at a high school in the School District of Lancaster. She has experience in addressing struggles including grief, anxiety, depression, and relational issues. Bria primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) but also applies Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Person-Centered Therapy (PCT).

Bria is passionate about helping children and adolescents move along the path towards healing and restoration. She strives to create a warm, nonjudgmental space for clients to feel comfortable and safe. When she is not counseling, Bria enjoys running, serving at her church, playing the bass guitar, and going on adventures with her roommates.

Landon Miller

MA, LPC

Landon Miller earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Eastern Mennonite University in 1997 and a master’s degree in guidance and counseling from the University of South Florida in 2000. Since that time, aside from a few years as a full-time parent and teaching English in Egypt, he has been working in counseling and social services. He joined COBYS in 2011 as a foster care caseworker and transitioned to the counseling department as a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in 2015.

In addition to his role as a therapist, Landon provides one-on-one training and support for COBYS resource parents. He is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Landon works with adolescents and adults in various life situations where anxiety, depression, symptoms of trauma, or relational issues may be present. He has extensive experience working with individuals and families involved in foster care and adoption.

Along with 20 years of professional experience and training in the field, Landon’s own life experiences and relationships feed his desire to provide an empathetic environment for mental health care. He lives just outside of Lancaster city and enjoys spending time with his wife, two grown daughters, and friends and family.

Lynette Nisly

Lynette Nisly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who works with children 4 and older as well as adults. She graduated from Messiah College with a degree in family studies (now known as human development and family sciences) and earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Millersville University. Providing therapy since 2017, Lynette has worked at COBYS since 2018. Prior to that, she had over 25 years of experience as a caseworker and supervisor working with children and families in foster care and adoption. She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and has experience providing Theraplay.

Lynette has expertise in issues related to abuse, trauma, attachment, and foster care and adoption. She is also experienced with codependency, depression, anxiety, parenting, and relationship issues. Lynette uses play-based therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, EMDR, and a family systems approach that is trauma-informed. She also incorporates Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) strategies with children and parents. Lynette has a passion for working with children, adolescents, and adults to bring emotional wholeness and healing to areas of brokenness and hurt while recognizing that God is our ultimate healer.

Married with three adult children, Lynette and her husband enjoy biking rail trails, reading books together, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends. She is involved at her church, where she is the Women’s Ministry Leader.

Sara Odicio

Sara Odicio earned a bachelor’s degree in social work at Cairn University and later went on to receive her master’s in social services (MSS) from Bryn Mawr College. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania and has been serving children and families since 2018, joining COBYS Family Services in 2022.

Trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Sara is also a facilitator for Making Sense of Your Worth, a therapeutic program to build positive, unconditional self-worth. She works through a trauma-informed and attachment-based framework and uses Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approaches. She is passionate about supporting families and adolescents and has experience in addressing needs including broken attachments, adoption-related struggles, life transitions, identity, trauma, grief and loss, and anxiety.

Sara strives to create a warm and safe space, recognizing the therapeutic relationship as a vital part of the healing process. She aims to help people live life to the fullest by recognizing their unique gifts and strengths, and her belief in God’s restorative grace is the motivation and foundation of why she seeks to serve others. Sara enjoys all kinds of music, finding hole-in-the-wall food places, and going on adventures with her husband and two fluffy cats.

Michelle Sheaffer

Michelle Sheaffer is a nationally certified counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Millersville University. She joined COBYS Family Services in 2002.

Michelle has experience providing psychotherapy to clients covering a broad range of ages, but primarily counsels adults and couples. She treats mental health disorders including anxiety, depression, ADHD, adjustment disorders, codependence, and trauma. In addition, she offers counsel and support to women who are partners of sexual addicts.

Michelle’s compassion for others welcomes clients to settle in and engage with her in the sacred therapeutic process of sharing life’s difficulties in a warm, comfortable, and safe environment. Her Christian faith anchors her dedication to serve her clients. She has enthusiasm for working with clients who are invested in personal growth, healing, and building meaningful relationships, and she values the journey with them as they discover their purpose, embrace healthy behaviors, and gain knowledge that brings new understanding to their lives. Outside of the office, Michelle enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Amy Wittmaier

MEd, LPC, NBCC

Amy Wittmaier is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and holds a master of education degree in counselor education from Penn State University. She is certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) and also has training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to treat children with trauma.

Amy joined the COBYS counseling staff in 2015 after serving locally as an elementary school counselor for nearly 20 years. She provides counseling to children ages 4–12 who are dealing with trauma, anxiety, and behavioral issues, and she is also the administrative supervisor of the counseling department. She has extensive experience with children in foster care and those who have been adopted.

Amy strongly believes in creating an accepting, warm environment in counseling, where the child and parent feel welcome, heard, and appreciated for their unique talents and gifts. Her faith drives her to be an advocate for children in need. When not counseling, Amy and her husband enjoy time with their two girls. She relishes any opportunity to garden or watch baseball.

Michele Romeo Martin

Dr. Michele Romeo Martin earned her master’s degree from Boston College and her doctoral degree at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. After working as the training director at Lydia Home Association in Chicago, she brought her passion for training clinicians to COBYS Family Services in 2010. Providing clinical consultation and supervision to therapists are her current primary responsibilities.

Michele’s areas of specialization include children and families, and the utilization of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to treat trauma while providing an inviting therapeutic place to understand oneself: your history and its impact on your current life circumstances and being.
